A tool for teaching within
early childhood education

With a background from preschools in Sweden, we cherish children's development and learning and the educator's important role. In the development of edChild, we have work closely with principals, preschool teachers, educators, and scientists.

About us

edChild has a solid background from the preschool sector where edChild's founders previously have run preschools in Sweden for more than 10 years.

We are convinced of the importance of early childhood education and want in edChild strengthen both principals' and teachers' opportunities to learn and develop in their roles with a strong belief in peer learning, to contribute to their development of leading-edge preschools that provide children with the best possible education.

Our long-term vision is to contribute to the UN global goal 4.2 "Equal access to quality pre-primary education".

edChild is inspired by Swedish pedagogical methods and preschool curriculum.

So how did edChild begin?
Two of edChild's founders had the opportunity to present how, and why, edChild was started at World OMEP's International Seminar on Education for Sustainable Development in ECCE.
You can see the presentation in the video above.
